The Goddess

Can I describe her?
Her whose shining star spurs us to truth and goodness,
Whose words echo in our souls?

Can I believe my eyes?
That a Goddess granted to us her presence,
That her eyes did ever look upon me?

Can I feel worthy of this?
That she chose to succour us,
That she saved us from her storm?

Was I dreaming?
When I saw her flawless face,
When I heard her soothing, powerful words,
When she blessed me with her beauty?
