But tonight, on this small planet, on earth...

So,

What's been going down? I (don't) hear you cry.

Quite a lot, actually.

Mighty Boosh at Brixton Academy, only marred by the fact that bl**dy Carling have taken it over and insist on selling you their rat-p*ss instead of anything decent. But the Boosh was top - nods to all their series' jokes but not too much. Cockney stump-f*ckers was probably the highlight, along with Old Greg's appearance at the last minute.

Jeff Wayne's The War of the Worlds at Wembley Arena. Stunning. Massive tripod on stage. Justin Hayward. Animated Richard Burton. Lights so hot you thought your head was going to pop like Arnie's in Total Recall when they get exposed to the Martian atmosphere. Ullllllllllaaa!

Salute 06 - helped out with the Megagame Makers' stand and picked up a War of the Ring expansion. Barely resisted the temptation to sp*nk all my money on lead.

New D&D - have started a new campaign with the Raynes Park Kru and D. Going well so far. I don't think they know what they're doing. If they do I wish they'd tell me.

Went home for Easter and went on a daylong seminar on Nature in Medieval art which was actually really impressive. Even if the slideshow in the dark left me struggling after lunch. Then a walk, some tidying up, and lots of top nosh. Mum made a kick-ass Spinach Lasagne thing which was brilliant.

FTLOTT is coming along well - another playtest coming up in May.

That's enough for now. Even though I must have forgotten loads. Off to Paris for the first time since I got us chucked out of the Louvre aged 4. Happy memories.
