Four hundred thousand more to die

The longest gap in blogpostings. I'm surprised I didn't give up altogether.

So "what's happened?", I don't hear you ask. I'll tell you anyway:

OCTOBER
Battle of the Somme megagame - god it was depressing shovelling dead counters off the map
Trip to Bruxelles
B's engagement party in the Temple - amazing Oxbridge college layout
JB's birthday party including a surprise visit from Batman and a late night curry
Trip to Troon to visit the Scots
Probably a whole bunch of stuff that I've already forgotten

NOVEMBER

Were the Saxons more literate than the Normans (M Clanchy says "yes, I was wrong") at IHR
K visits
Birthday party - awesome - saw loads of people (pics may appear in Flickr)
Games week in Tewkesbury - excellent
Visit to Mum and Dad - dinner out in Winchcombe

Badminton
DT's birthday at Babushka (or whatever it's called now) - 'Tarantula'

DECEMBER
Geneva with D and T to visit A - night out in Lausanne, United Nations Building, fondue, sports
Office Pantomime x 2
Dinner with G
Team Christmas lunch featuring my famous quiz
Christmas dinner at ours
Squash with S
Axis and Allies: Pacific with B and S
Golden Gate madness continues
Workshops
Office Carol Service
Office Christmas Party
